Taxonomy Blitz - Saturday Oct 14, 11 am, University of Saskatchewan Campus
The University of Saskatchewan Entomological Collection will be hosting a Taxonomy Blitz. This activity is open to up to 20 attendees and lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to this Google form. Blitzers will meet at 11 am in the lobby of the University of Saskatchewan Museum of Natural Sciences.

Wanuskewin Heritage Park Trip - Sunday Oct 15, morning, busing from hotel
Wanuskewin Heritage Park is national historic site and home to Canada's longest running archeological site. It boasts beautiful hiking trails exhibits and galleries that celebrate the Northern Plains Indigenous cultures. Cash to cover the cost of this trip will be collected on the bus before departure.

Graduate Student Showcase - Sunday Oct 15, 4:30pm, Michealangelo Room A/B
The Graduate Student Showcase features four carefully selected graduate students within one year of defence to present their thesis work.

Welcome Reception - Sunday Oct 15, 7pm, Hotel Pre-Function Area.
Eat, drink and mingle with friends new and old at the ESC-ESS JAM Opening Reception. Appetizers will be served, along with a cash bar.

Trivia Event - Monday Oct 16, 12 - 1pm.
This activity is open to ALL attendees and lunch will be provided. The event will take place from noon to 1 pm at the Venice room. Following a 20-minute trivia event, participants will get the chance to network with researchers and discuss several topics (graduate school, publishing, postdoc positions, etc). Anyone interested in attending can sign up using this Google form.

Student Mixer - Monday Oct 16, 7pm, Winston's Pub.
The student social will take place Winston's English Pub (243 21st Street East) and is open to all students. Snacks and one drink ticket will be provided to all attendees. Participants will get to enjoy ento-themed live music by Primordial Transit, as well as some games (Bug War Games). Anyone interested in participating in the Bug War Games can sign up using this Google form. Students can register as individuals or as part of a team. Winners will received ento-themed prizes.

ESC-ESS Banquet Dinner, Student Awards, & Entertainment - Tuesday Oct 17, 6pm, Michaelangelo Room A/B.
Our banquet will be the social highlight of the meeting! Student prizes will be awarded. There will be unique entertainment, including music and hoop dancing, and Dr. Julie Soroka will present our Heritage Lecture.

Silent Auction Fundraiser - Ends Tuesday Oct 17, afternoon.
The Silent Auction is organised by the Student Affairs Committee. All funds raised through the Silent Auction are donated to the ESC Student Scholarships and Awards fund. If you or someone you know is cleaning out the office and looking to get rid of entomology related books or other items (trinkets, artwork, jewellery, field gear, t-shirts, etc.), the Silent Auction would love to have them. Please bring them along with you to the meeting and drop them off at the Silent Auction tables (near the Registration Desk).
